10:45pm Dolphins (www.dolphinstheband.com)I AM A ROCKET SCIENTIST is a sci-fi musical about space travel and a love triangle. Our protagonist, BOB, has feelings for CHLOE, another rocket scientist who’s always wanted to see the stars. When their company (headed by hot shot rocket scientist turned corporate dreamer CHIP) announces a mission to a far away solar system in search of new water sources, Chloe dreams she could be the scientist chosen to go, while Bob dreads being chosen as it means facing a life without Chloe. Meanwhile, Chip has plans all his own, and they involve Chloe, deception, and some pretty expensive beer… What will win out in the end – love, money, or the spirit of intrepid exploration?
